It is a reworking of Walter Crane's 1898 comments on Monopolist Grain Speculation, Imperiling Food Security for the People. The words have been altered to fit a Genetic Engineering campaign and the image was hand colored. The image is of a woman [warrior/goddess] with a shield marked "Natural Diversity" and "Health" protecting the crops from a demon marked "Genetic Engineering Inc." She holds a scythe in the other hand with one on the ground marked "Open Pollinated Crops". Click here to download a JPG of the poster. This is a very large file! 1.8 megabytes! It is not the same as downloading a pdf. On a PC, use a right-click. On a Mac, hold CTRL + click, then select "download link to disk" to get the file to the desktop instead of opening a browser window. |
