This report compiles findings from 17 Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) conducted across 16 countries, with over 200 participants, to inform the Global Study on Women, Peace, and Security. It highlights civil society’s perceptions of UNSCR 1325, key challenges in its implementation, and priority recommendations. The report stresses the need for increased funding, better coordination among actors, and greater involvement of women in peacebuilding and political processes, while addressing issues such as sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and conflict prevention.
