On 20 November 2025, WILPF issued a statement condemning UNSCR 2803, adopted by the UN Security Council on 17 November 2025, which endorses the US-backed “Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict” and related initiatives such as the Trump Declaration for Enduring Peace and Prosperity and the US-backed Board of Peace.
WILPF highlights that the resolution enshrines impunity for Israel’s occupation, apartheid, and ongoing genocide in Gaza, authorises a colonial-style administration over the territory, and undermines Palestinian self-determination, rights of return, and access to reparations.
The statement highlights that the plan violates multiple international legal obligations, including the Genocide Convention, the Apartheid Convention, and the Geneva Conventions, while reflecting the UN Security Council’s failure to uphold international law.
WILPF frames the resolution as part of a broader pattern of exclusionary, transactional diplomacy that legitimises aggression and colonial control, calling on feminists and the international community to resist this manipulation of “peace” and demand accountability, an end to the siege and blockade of Gaza, comprehensive arms restrictions, and full respect for Palestinian rights.
