During the 22nd Congress of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), 31 July – 6 August 1983 in Göteborg, Sweden, WILPF called upon the Member States of the United Nations to unseat the so-called “Democratic Kampuchea” represented now by a coalition of three parties, i.e. Sihanoak, Son Sann, Khieu Samphon (the Pol Pot regime) at the next UN General Assembly in September 1983.
