Reaffirming its support for the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of their adoption,
Continuing to work toward the eradication of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, considering these scourges as one of the root causes of conflict, including armed conflict, and of severe sufferings of large sectors of populations,
Expressing our full support for the aims of the International Year for the People of African Descent (2011), as proclaimed by the UN General Assembly,
1. Calls on all UN member states to actively participate in the high-level meeting of the 66th session of the General Assembly on 22 September 2011 in New York and commit to take effective measures to realize the aims of the Durban Outcome Documents.
