About the event: Join us for an online discussion on how vast military budgets, fuelling war and destruction, could instead be redirected to confront the climate crisis and support justice for frontline communities.
Speakers include:

- Raouf Ben Mohamed, Debt for Climate
- Katrin Geyer, Environment Advisor, WILPF International
Together, they will explore the urgent needs in climate financing and show how reducing military spending and cancelling illegitimate debt could generate the resources needed to address the crisis.
From challenging the priorities of powerful states to exposing the failures of current financing mechanisms, the discussion will highlight how redirecting just a fraction of global war budgets could help repair climate harm and build a future rooted in peace and solidarity.
