It’s Time to Move the Money to Peace! 

Amidst an accelerating arms race and dwindling resources for peace work, we need to send a clear message across the world; this year WILPF is (re)launching the Move the Money campaign to confront the root causes of war, inequality, and environmental destruction by demanding a shift in how resources are used. 

This International Day for Peace, 21 September, we called on governments to divest from militarism and invest in feminist peace, care, and equality. Rooted in decades of advocacy, Move the Money will unite communications and political action under a powerful shared message

Community is our strength. WILPFers, let’s come together for a Global Call after International Day of Peace to go through the Move the Money campaign, hear from each other and remind ourselves that our movement is more powerful than the structures built to divide and silence us.
