The 58th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC58) will take place in Geneva, featuring a high-level segment (24–26 Feb) with speeches from UN Secretary-General António Guterres, UNGA President Philemon Yang, High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis. A global human rights update by the High Commissioner (3 March), followed by a general debate. Country-specific human rights reviews (e.g., Palestine, Sudan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Ukraine). Final outcomes of 14 Universal Periodic Reviews (e.g., Norway, Ethiopia, Qatar), and more.
