Rebels against War Award Winners

WILPF Germany warmly invites you to a webinar with the Rebels Against War: 
Every two years, WILPF’s German Section, together with the city of Verden, awards the Rebels Against War/Anita Augspurg Prize to a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to peace and justice.

Five women have already been awarded the prize: Olena Zinenko from Ukraine, Efi Latsoudi from Greece, Rasha Jarhum from Yemen, Gulnara Shahinian from Armenia and Zaina Erhaim from Syria.

This webinar brings the previous award winners together to hear their ongoing struggles for peace and justice. Facilitated by Heidi Meinzolt, it is an opportunity to learn more about the award winners’ commitment. It also sets the stage for next year’s award ceremony, which will take place on 4 September 2026 in Verden, to which you are also warmly invited!
