About: The sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69) will mark the thirtieth anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. The session, taking place from 10 to 21 March 2025 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, will focus on the review and appraisal of the Beijing Declaration and its impact on achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment. The session will also address current challenges and assess progress toward the full realization of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Representatives of Member States, UN entities, and accredited NGOs from around the world will gather to discuss the global community’s progress and ongoing work.t
