Bring Together and Collaborate with Peace Activists and Local Experts
Network is power. Knowing the right people gives you greater access, facilitates the sharing of information, and makes it easier to get influence. WILPF values and develops an amazing network of grassroots activists, women’s rights advocates, human rights defenders, academics, like-minded diplomats and UN representatives, and many more.
We have had more than 100 years to expand and build our network — our community– and we believe that the more we share our network, the closer we will get to permanent peace.
A cornerstone in our work is therefore to bring together the right people at the right moment. By bringing together people from across the globe and the political spectrum to work for peace by non-violent means, we foster cross-conflict learning, promote impactful advocacy, and ensures that analysis of conflict from a grassroots and feminist perspective are produced.
Being able to connect with our global network and getting access to our progressive spaces for joint action always add mutual significant, unique and transformative value to the work of us and our partners and allies — and ultimately to the work on the ground and in the multilateral bodies.
