Last month, in May 2013, the High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda launched its report. A report that unfortunately does not meet our expectations and presents many loopholes.

Post 2015A coalition of feminist and women’s rights organisations (to which WILPF is part of) express their opinions about this report that clearly lacks a human rights approach: it points out the economic value of human rights instead of highlighting their intrinsic value; and the numerous references to the private sector’s key role are also very concerning.

Let’s be brief: that report was a missed opportunity and more needs to be done.
