The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) is partnering with Voice Republic to live stream the entirety of its three day conference on Women’s Power to Stop War.
To celebrate its 100 year anniversary, the oldest women’s peace organisation is bringing together women peacemakers from many of the hottest conflict zones – Nigeria to Yemen, Ukraine to Syria, Colombia to the Philippines. Joining them are five Nobel Laureate women, leading investigative journalist Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!, and first UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women Radhika Coomaraswamy. Together, they will explore the root causes of war to draft a new peace agenda for the 21st century.
