What are National Action Plans and how can they foster the implementation of the Women, Peace and Security agenda in the African context?
The webinar will look into the progress in implementing the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 through National Action Plans, using the case studies of the DRC, Nigeria and Cameroon.
Our speakers are Prof. Aisling Swaine (WILPF Academic Network), Dr. Abigail Ruane (WILPF Women, Peace and Security Programme), Joy Ada Onyesoh (Nigeria), Sylvie Jacqueline Ndongmo (Cameroon), and Annie Matundu Mbambi (DRC).
