Every year on May 15, Palestinians around the world mark the Nakba, or “catastrophe”, referring to the ethnic cleansing of Palestine and the near-total destruction of Palestinian society in 1948. But Nakba isn’t just a historical event. It has continued to be an ongoing process of discriminatory laws and policies targeting Palestinian, taking on new dimensions with the unfolding genocide in Gaza.
To mark Nakba in solidarity with Palestine, get inspired by our campaign toolkit and follow updates via WILPF social media channels.
