The Symposion: Women voted Peace, what’s next? is the closing event of the Women Vote Peace project. In addition to a workshop, a panel discussion and a film screening, the results of the project will be evaluated.

– Reflection on the realized activities and defining the outputs and outcomes of the project in total.

– The panel discussion provides an input from different perspectives on current issues and an opportunity for exchange amongst the participants.

– ‘Women’s participation in democratic processes’
– ‘Cooperation of the ‘feminist platform’-does it exist?’
– ‘Political mobilisation’
– ‘Populist narratives and discourses against women – ways of counteracting’
– ‘Women and the peace movement’
– ‘Re-defining “Feminism”’
Free Time
• 18:30 – Screening: “Versailles 1919 – Return of the Dangerous Women”
– The film shows the most important female historical personalities of the Zurich
Congress (1919) and revives the importance and demand on peace.
